Want to improve your writing without endless drills? L. Yip from ESF South Island School shares how Miss Ellie’s efficient, low-stress methods deliver real results—minimum stress, maximum efficacy.

A Smarter Way to Learn
Ellie makes me memorise loads of vocabulary and sentence structures in a short space of time. Instead of random drills, she gets me to practise writing analysis on texts with similar styles, making sure I refine my technique every time.
Her method is structured but flexible—I start by getting used to writing the introduction and conclusion first, then build my body paragraphs:
✅ One on language features
✅ One on form and structure
It’s a lot of writing and feedback—but it’s useful and quick.
From Unseen Texts to Instant Ideas with minimum stress and maximum efficacy
Now, I only need to glance at an unseen text to know exactly what to write. Because I’ve practised so much, I don’t waste time second-guessing myself.
And the best part? I can relax after class and focus on other things. No overworking, no unnecessary stress—just efficient learning that works.
